Sounds like reports of the demise of Jay Z and Beyonce's On the Run tour were greatly exaggerated.

Several news outlets suggested that the tour has been struggling to sell tickets, but Billboard calls their reports "inaccurate" and says it's actually on pace to be "one of the most successful tours of the year."  Sources close to the tour say that it has already sold $86 million in tickets and stands to gross close to $100 million from just 19 shows. That breaks down to a nightly take of nearly $5.2 million. Billboard says the tour has also sold an "unprecedented" amount of VIP and platinum tickets.

And if you don't get a chance to catch Beyonce on the road this summer, fear not. HBO has announced that starting June 29th, every Sunday night, the network will air a four-minute concert clip of Beyonce from her recently completed Mrs. Carter Show world tour. Each episode will air before True Blood.
