The truck driver charged in the deadly car accident that put Tracy Morgan in critical condition has been released after posting $50,000 bond.

Kevin Roper's Walmart tractor-trailer rear-ended with the limousine bus carrying the comedian and his entourage early Saturday morning on the New Jersey Turnpike. Officials believe Roper was dozing off and didn't see traffic slowing until it was too late.

Tracy's friend and comedy writer, Jimmy McNair, died in the crash, while comedians Harris Stanton and Ardie Fuqua were also injured. As of Sunday Morgan was still listed in critical condition.

Roper was charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto.
