The NBA announced that – after a four-month legal battle – Donald Sterling is no longer the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers.

The former CEO of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer, closed the deal and took control … after buying the team for a cool $2 billion.

In order for this to happen, Sterling had to face off against his estranged wife in court. She won, and therefore was allowed to sell the team that HE bought 30 years ago to Ballmer.

That’s a tough pill to swallow … to be that old, still married, and then defeated by your wife in court – on a 2-billion-dollar deal. (LA Times)
