In British Columbia, scientists have discovered the fossil of a new extinct animal species that dates back to about 500 million years ago.
This “alien-looking” sea creature resembles a floating head, wearing a large helmet.
And -- if the calculations of scientists are correct -- this thing was swimming around before dinosaurs were roaming the earth. (CTV)
