The Weeknd is giving us the first look at his new HBO Max series, The Idol.
The new six-episode drama was co-created by The Weeknd, Reza Fahim and Euphoria creator Sam Levinson. HBO says the series is “set against the backdrop of the music industry and centers on a self-help guru and leader of a modern-day cult who develops a complicated relationship with an up-and-coming pop idol.”
The show was also co-written by and co-stars The Weeknd. The premiere date is yet to be announced. All we know for now is that it's "coming soon."
