Barbenheimer did even better than previously thought.
The one-two punch of Barbie and Oppenheimer blew away box office expectations over the weekend, breaking several records — but both movies made even more money than was estimated on Sunday.
Barbie reportedly earned $155 million in its debut weekend, but on Monday it turned out to have made $162 million. Meanwhile, Oppenheimer jumped from $80.5 million to $82 million.
Barbie had the biggest opening weekend of the year and the best debut for a female director.
