Come join in on Tulare County’s inaugural High School Madness Games during the Tulare County Fair, a new and exciting way for all the Tulare County High Schools to show their school spirit. Each high school in Tulare County is invited to join in on the friendly competition. The High School Madness Games will be held on Kids Day, Wednesday September 13th. Grandstand doors will open at 5:00 pm, competition will begin at 6:00 pm. Prize money will be paid to the winning schools ASB treasury.
First Place School: $500;
Second Place School: $300;
Third Place School: $100
School teams will be comprised of registered students and four faculty members. Teams should wear school colors, preferably with school logos.
Events planned are:
Human pyramid 6 students per team; 1 team per school
Tug of War 6 students per team; 1 team per school
Human Ring Toss 6 students per team; 1 team per school
Water Balloon Toss 2 Students per team; 3 teams per school
Cheer Competition 1 Cheer leading squad per school; 2 mins max
Drum line Competition 1 Drum Troup per school; 3 mins max
Mascot Dance Battle up to 2 per school; 30 seconds’ max
All schools that wish to participate are asked to call the fair office at 559-686-4707 on or before August 30th to indicate their intent to participate. Please have a list of all the students and faculty members who will be participating in the events to the fair office or fax to no later than September 4th.
Each competition your school competes in earns points. The school with the most points wins.
Everyone competing in the contest must purchase a wristband.
To view and cheer on your school, showing your school spirit at the High School Madness Games in the grandstands you must purchase a wristband.
Wristbands will be available at the fair office for $3.00 before the event or $5.00 at the grandstands the day of the event.
