Back in March Teyana Taylor promised that her new album is coming out this year, but here we are in mid-October with not so much as a teaser of the K.T.S.E. followup. If you ask the R&B star though, she's still holding up to her word. When a fan asked when we're going to hear new music via Twitter, Taylor seemingly shared the project's release date.

"f**k you ahkayyy?!!! Lol my album dropping dec.6th! I promise" she replied, complete with a string of cry-laughing and frustrated emojis. In a subsequent tweet, the GOOD Music artist also revealed that a collaboration with Kehlani will be featured on the album, and they're shooting the video for it on the 18th.

Taylor made her promise of new music in 2019 during a conversation with none other than Elton John during a visit to his radio show. "Not a might, it's definitely gonna come out this year," she said at the time. "I'm gonna do whatever I have to do to make sure it get out."

She also let fans know what to expect from the new material, including that it wouldn't be produced by Kanye West like K.T.S.E. was. "This one is a little bit of everybody," she said. "I want to kind of explore a little bit more, get a couple more people involved, to really, really bring to life my vision."
