Rihanna Just Revealed When She's Going To Have Children (And How Many!)

Rihanna has babies on the brain — and let's just say, she wants a full house.

Speaking to British Vogue for the mag’s upcoming May issue, the pop star opened up about everything from her overwhelming work ethic, breaking off her romance with billionaire Hassan Jameel and what she hopes her life will look like in the next 10 years. “Since I turned 32, I’m realizing life is really short,” she told the publication. “You don’t have a lot of time to tolerate s—t, you know? You put so much on your plate. … And I’m overwhelmed too much. What’s happening now is that I’m going back to black and white. My grey area is shutting down.”

With all the demand surrounding her hotly anticipated new album and her ever-expanding Fenty Beauty brand, the “Diamonds” songbird says her workaholic nature is all part of a larger, long-term goal. “I’m working like this now so that I don’t to in the future,” she reveals. “I know I want to live differently.”

Part of that imminent transition, Ri shares, involves wanting to have a family of her own — something she ponders when asked where she sees herself in the next decade. “Ten years? I’ll be 42! I’ll be ancient,” she quips. “I’ll have kids – three or four of ’em.”

What's more, when asked if she’d be willing to raise her children on her own if she had to, Rihanna said, “Hell, yeah.”

“I feel like society makes me want to feel like, ‘Oh, you got it wrong…’ They diminish you as a mother if there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives,” she explained. “But the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”
