Voting is about to get a lot easier for Californians voters as the upcoming 2020 primary on March 3 draws near. If you've already registered to vote, you'll have plenty of options thanks to new Voting Solutions for All People (VSAP).
As we've reported, voting in person will be changing in 2020 and you're likely saying goodbye to your normal neighborhood polling center in favor of several larger 'vote centers' that will be open for up to ten days before the election. This way, voters will now be able to vote anywhere in the county, and even get help in multiple languages, and even allow you to fill out a ballot at home and bring it with you to the polling center ahead of the March 3 primary.
Voters will also see new ballot marking machines are replacing the old technology that hasn't been updated in decades. Voters can even pre-select their choices at home before walking into the new polling centers. The ballot marking machines can scan the code on your app that voters can use to double check and print out their ballots.
