President Trump Faces Off With Joe Biden In The Final Presidential Debate

President Donald Trump will square off with Democratic nominee Joe Biden in the second and final presidential debate in Nashville at 9 p.m. ET. The 90-minute debate will be broken down into six 15 minutes segments about the coronavirus, American families, race in the United States, climate change, national security, and leadership. The debate will be moderated by Kristen Welker of NBC News.

Each candidate will get two minutes of uninterrupted time to answer the first question during each segment. During that time, their opponent's microphone will be muted.

"The only candidate whose microphone will be open during these two-minute periods is the candidate who has the floor under the rules," the commission announced earlier in the week.

After each candidates' two minutes are up, the debate will move into open discussion. During the open debate, both candidates' mics will remain on, but the time taken up during any interruptions will be returned to the other candidate.

The decision to mute the candidates' mics was made after the first debate featured both candidates talking over each other as they tried to answer the questions.

You can listen to the debate on NBC News Radio and on iHeartMedia stations nationwide, as well as on the iHeartRadio app.
