Rapper Jay-Z has invested in a new app called ‘Perch’. Perch is a Los Angeles-based credit building system aimed to help minorities boost their credit scores by reporting recurring expenses. Perch Credit CEO Michael Broughton and CTO Ayush Jain will join forces with credit unions to report recurring payments like rent and subscriptions to monthly streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Spotify.
