Dr. Dre is definitely a business man. This man is really about to be paid. According to Billboard, Dr. Dre is in the process of making a big deal. The music mogul would sell the rights to some of his royalties and master recordings that would be well over $200 million. Dre has a few separate deals going on like the one with Shamrock Holdings and the other with Universal Music Group. So what's going to happen with these deals? For Shamrock, Dre sells his artist royalties from two of his solo albums -- his share of N.W.A artist royalties, plus his producer royalties and the writer's share of the music where he doesn't own publishing rights. For UMG, Dre would sell the master recordings for his album, The Chronic and his share of some of Kendrick Lamar music. Don't get it twisted because Dre isn't selling everything and he still has his thing going with his label, Aftermath.
