The major movie studios are recognizing that many Americans aren’t willing to shell out big bucks for the theater experience anymore – especially since home theaters have become so high tech and awesome.
So as a way to generate more revenue, six out of seven of these studios are talking about offering people the chance to watch new releases at home just 14 to 20 days after they hit theaters.

But, that still could be cheaper than cruising to a theater and paying for tickets, popcorn, and soda.
