Jessica Alba's Honest Company has to pay $1.55 million for being dishonest.
The actress's company has settled a nationwide class action suit claiming that it misled customers about the ingredients in its laundry detergent, dish soap and multipurpose cleaner. According to the suit, the products contained a chemical that the company promised to leave out.
Customers who bought the products will be able to get a refund.
The eco-friendly company, founded by Alba in 2011, has been valued at nearly $2 billion.
