For the second time in three months, Kendall Jenner has apologized for a marketing misstep.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner tried to exploit iconic musicians. The girls plastered their face across vintage music T-shirts. Then had the audacity to sell them at 125 dollars each!
The sisters defaced Tupac, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Led Zeppelin, The Doors and Kiss. Biggie Smalls’ mother sent the Jenner sisters a cease and desist order. Either quit selling the shirts or face a lawsuit. The sisters smartly threw in the towel and removed the shirts from their retail website.
Last night, both tweeted an apology. Their statement said, in part, (quote) “These designs were not well thought out. We deeply apologize to anyone that has been upset and/or offended, especially to the families of the artists. We are huge fans of their music and it was not our intention to disrespect these cultural icons in anyway.” (Billboard)
