Sadly, Whitney Houston isn't here to mark the silver anniversary of The Bodyguard, but Christina Aguilera will step up at the American Music Awards for a tribute to the iconic film -- and to Whitney herself.
XTina will perform a medley of songs from the movie, which hit theaters in November 1992, and it's safe to assume that set will include a version of Whitney's most loved hit, "I Will Always Love You." Houston's estate issued a statement saying, “Whitney herself stated that Christina Aguilera sang the best version of her song ‘Run to You.’ Whitney said that Christina is without a doubt one of the best voices she enjoyed in this generation of music."
The AMAs will air live on November 19th on ABC.
