Michelle Wolf is still facing a backlash from her set Saturday night at the White House Correspondents' Dinner but the comedian says she wouldn't change a thing.
Critics slammed Wolf for going too far with her sometimes vulgar jokes and her attack on White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders. In an interview with NPR, Wolf says she wouldn't change a single word. She insists, "I'm very happy with what I said, and I'm glad I stuck to my guns." Wolf admits that she never expected so much criticism and says, "I knew what I was doing going in. I wanted to do something different. I didn't want to cater to the room. I wanted to cater to the outside audience, and not betray my brand of comedy."
Wolf also insists that her jokes about Sanders were not an attack on her appearance and that anyone who thinks otherwise "didn't pay attention to what was said."
