College graduations can be total snooze-fests with endless speeches and professors droning on and on about how the world is yours for the taking. But thanks to a couple of rogue pelicans in Malibu, California, Pepperdine University's Class of 2018 had a little excitement added to their commencement.
The large birds swooped down and terrified the panicked audience. One of them actually landed on some people before making its way to the stage. Officials tried to shoo them away, but one of them refused to move and kept nipping at anyone who got too close. They were eventually escorted out and ceremony continued. (KABC-TV)
