Heavy Drinking Messes With Your Mouth


According to a new study, drinking alcohol messes with the bacteria in your mouth, which makes you less healthy.

Researchers found that drinking heavily makes it easier for some bad bacteria to grow, which increases the risk of some types of cancer, gum disease and heart disease. Heavy drinking also makes it harder for some good bacteria to grow, which decreases the body's ability to fight off infections. (Time)
