Another woman is speaking out about R. Kelly. This time, it’s a former Epic Records intern who says she had a sexual relationship with the singer when she was just 16 years old.
Tracy Sampson opened up about allegations in a new on-camera interview with Dateline. That episode will air on NBC tonight (Friday). In the disturbing interview, she recounts how the singer pressured her to get physical as a teenager. Sampson first spoke out about her relationship with Kelly as part of a Washington Post expose published last May.
She filed a lawsuit against Kelly after she ended their relationship and turned 18. They ended up settling out of court in 2002 for $250,000. Kelly’s lawyer, Steven Greenberg, who didn’t represent him at the time, says Sampson’s story “didn’t happen… There's a few women who are making these allegations for which there's no proof."
Dateline airs at 10 p.m. (NBC News)
