Big Sean is coming home.
On the Detroit rapper’s 32nd birthday on Wednesday, he announced plans for a new album named after his hometown. He’s already been putting in work on Detroit 2, including collabs with Jhene Aiko,Ty Dolla $ign,Lil Wayne and Young Thug.
In a new trailer, Sean speaks on the role the city has played in his life and career. “To me, it’s home… But, I feel like it’s more than just a city. It’s, for real, a mentality… It feels like a whole new energy in the city, you know? It’s inspiring to watch, to the point where it inspired me to go harder than ever.”
