While on the floor, a bullet can been seen flying through the glass right above the family, leaving debris just inches from one child's head. From there, the 39-year-old father is seen jumping on top of them again, pushing them back down to the floor. As NBC News points out, he was doing all of this even despite one of the bullets striking him in the thigh. Thanks to his efforts, the children remained unharmed.
