O.T. Genesis found time during the pandemic to squash a beef.
He appeared on Keyshia Cole's Instagram Live during her socially distancedVerzuz battle with Ashanti last night (Thursday), and sang along with her 2006 single "Love." That's the track O.T. released an unofficial remix to, "Never Knew/Cuz," in 2019 -- which Keyshia didn't give her blessing to.
When he dropped the remix, with completely different lyrics to the same music flow, she said that she wished for her "classics" to be left alone, especially since she wasn't sure how she'd be compensated, and "you ain’t sent me out a check or anything like that?”
The ladies kept up the battle's reputation, drawing 1.1 million views, and played 20 hits each. (Uproxx)
