China began building a permanent space station by launching a big part of it into space yesterday (Thursday).
To put the whole thing together, there will be 10 more launches to keep putting the pieces together, load the thing up with supplies and then deliver the crew. If everything goes according to plan, they’ll have it all built -- and a crew floating around up there -- by the end of next year. (NBC News)
