New Study Shows Being A Class Clown Could Be a Sign Of Intelligence

According to a new study, being a class clown could be a sign of intelligence.

Researchers took a look at students between the ages of 10 and 12 with varying IQs.

They had the kids write dialogue and jokes for 10 comic drawings. The jokes were then scored by a panel of scientists and cartoonists.

Sure enough. The final scores showed that the more intelligent children easily outperformed their fellow students. The authors of the study believe that intelligent people have a better grasp of humor because "they understand how to subvert people's expectations." (Daily Mail)
