Kanye West has a new plan to help the homeless -- by hiring them to make and model clothing.
Ye is working with a streetwear brand called Skid Row Fashion Week on a new collab and a fashion show. A portion of the profits will go to homeless folks. In addition, Skid Row Fashion Week employs unhoused people at its factory.
With the Yeezy collab in the works, they plan to scale up and hire more folks to make and model the clothing. They also want to repurpose and upcycle items found on Skid Row to be integrated into the ensembles, such as a trash bag puffer jacket. (TMZ)
