A group calling itself the Halloween & Costume Association has started a Change.org petition to change the date of Halloween from October 31st to the last Saturday in October. They argue it would be safer and less rushed if on a weekend and THEY aren't alone! The petition already has over 24,000 signatures, although some suggest it’s just an attempt to get more money from the sale of costumes.
What do you think? Would moving Halloween to the weekend make more sense or do people already sort of do that when they throw parties the weekend before?
