Fans have had mixed emotions regarding the legitimacy of the allegations made against Michael Jackson in 'Leaving Neverland' documentary. Now, Producer Dan Reed, is facing even harsher criticism for documentary after he admits the timeline of alleged victim James Safechuck, does not match up. Dan Reed agrees the timeline does not match up.
The Mirror Online reports that Reed admitted the timeline given by alleged victim James Safechuck doesn’t match up.
In the doc, Safechuck claims that Jackson sexually abused him in an upstairs room within Neverland’s train station. However, Jackson biographer Mike Smallcombe refutes those claims as the train station wasn’t built until two years after Safechuck said the abuse stopped.
He even shared the construction permits on Twitter, showing that the Neverland train station was approved on September 2, 1993, and opened in 1994.
Dan Reed even replied saying, “Yeah there seems to be no doubt about the station date. The date they have wrong is the end of the abuse.”
The documentary has been criticized by many who believe there are numerous inconsistencies and the fact that Jackson went under heavy surveillance and investigation by the FBI for over ten years. He was found innocent and no evidence was ever found.
