Debris Removal

The state is currently working on strategies for fire debris removal. In recent past wildfires, CalRecycle has used large general contractors, who use subcontractors to complete the work. CalRecycle maintains a list of interested contractors in fire debris removal work, which is available to all general contractors and subcontractors. As a contractor, you can then use the list to network and explore subcontracting opportunities. Once on the list, you will also be directly notified by email of any solicitations.

Local Assistance Centers

The Local Assistance Center is a one-stop-shop with critical government services for residents who have been impacted by the fires. Replace lost or destroyed vital documents (ID, financial information, etc.) and get connected with support services.

Business Recovery Centers

The SBA offers low-interest disaster loans to businesses, private nonprofits, homeowners and renters. Businesses and private nonprofits my borrow up to $2 million dollars for physical damage and economic injury (working capital needs). SBA representatives at the Business Recovery Centers will provide one-on-one assistance regarding disaster loans, answer questions and assist businesses with completing the SBA application.
