Veteran guard Andre Iguodala made his first appearance at Chase Center tonight unfortunately playing for the opposing team, the Miami Heat. Iguodala, a beloved player from the Golden State Warriors 5 year championship run and the 2015 finals mvp, opted to sign with the Heat just days ago after being traded by the Warriors to Memphis and refusing to play.
After the tribute video played after the player introductions, Klay Thompson took center court to say a few words to the crowd about what Andre meant to the organization. Ironically, Klay lost the rock paper scissors bet with Steph to decide who would speak at center court.
Hilariously, Andre admitted he just left the Bay a few days ago. Obviously, Warrior fans would love to see Andre in a Warriors uniform again. Lets keep the faith for 2021!
