It be the ones you know! A Texas man is speaking out after he was robbed and kidnapped at gunpoint, by his own roommate! Ring cameras caught the incident on camera. Justin Iwuji took to Instagram to spread awareness detailing his ordeal:
This video is the first moments captured of a horrific incident that happened to me by my own roommate in my own home! On the evening of May 8th, 2022 in Houston TX, Josh Deloach, held me at gun point, proceeded to rob me of my high value belongings, my firearm, my wallet, $6000 via CashApp, tied me up, and kidnapped me in the trunk of my own Range Rover. At one point during this egregious event prior to the kidnapping, Josh had me sit in a chair in my own shower with a blanket over a chair, gun pointed at me and asked me to state something along the lines of do you have any last words. While in fear for my life I continued to ask/plead with Josh what the reason for all this was. Josh then collected my belongings then tied me up with power cords & blindfolded me. Josh then drove my Range Rover 30+ miles with me covered and tied up in the trunk, stopped a few times at different locations including a Walmart to purchase duct tape which he used to further restraint/tape me up. The car was driven to a location in Cypress, TX where Josh exited the vehicle for an extended period of time in which I was able to slip free of some of the bondage, enough to where I could use my fingers to remove the covering over me and manage to exit the vehicle by rolling out of it, undoing the bondage on my feet, and sprinting into the streets where I jumped in front of a moving pick up truck who was nice enough to drive me away to police and safety. When the police were finally able to locate my vehicle, Josh had fled the scene and is currently at large and potentially still armed. Two 1st Degree Felonies have been filed (Aggravated Kidnapping & Robbery) and there is currently a warrant out for the arrest of Joshua Nathaniel Deloach. PLEASE if you live in Houston or anywhere in the US and see this man, please call 911, call/text Sergeant García of Houston PD at (713) 532-3035 or reach out to me and I'll pass the info along. I thank God for his blessings & protection. I am alive today through this horrific incident through God’s grace🙏🏾
