DJ EZ Rock of the hip-hop duo Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock has reportedly passed away.
Rob Base took to social media to announce the death of his long-time partner, writing "R.I.P. Skip." He also called him both a friend and his brother.

While details of E-Z Rock's death are scarce, it didn't take long for the hip-hop world to send their condolences via social media.
On Twitter, Biz Markie wrote that the deejay will "truly be missed."
