Just in time for Spring Break, a new study has shown that tequila might help you lose weight.
Researchers found that the plant sugars that are fermented to give tequila its kick raise levels of a hormone in your gut that tells the brain it’s time to stop eating.
The hormone also keeps food the stomach for longer, which prolongs the feeling of fullness.
And on top of all this, sugars in tequila known as agavins aren't processed by the body, meaning they can’t make us fat. (DailyMail)
