You're going to respect Lauryn Hill when she takes the stage -- even if she's a little bit late getting there.
The singer made that clear the other night in Chicago, where she had a fan tossed from the House of Blues after he'd heckled her for starting the show almost an hour late. On a tape obtained by TMZ, Lauryn tells the fan, "I don’t need to win you over. You don’t need to win me over. You can go. I do this because I love it, not because I owe you anything. You understand that? You can get on your blogs, and you can tweet. You can say whatever you want to. I don’t give a rat’s ass. I do this because I love it.”
The person who shot the video says he left the concert after two songs and that many people seemed to be asking for a refund from the box office.
I on the other hand would STILL love to watch her LIVE!
