Chris Brown has rejected a plea deal and is prepared to stand trail for allegedly beating up a man outside a Washington, D.C. hotel last October.

Brown's defense attorney, Mark Geragos, said today (Wednesday) that one of the reasons he'd rejected the deal was that it would have required him to publicly read "a script" that he wouldn't co-sign. According to, Brown's friends and family were at the courthouse as a show of support.

D.C. resident Christopher Hollosy has claimed that Brown and one of his bodyguards beat him after he tried to get into a picture Breezy was taking with his girlfriend.
