A New York judge has postponed Shia LaBeouf's disorderly conduct case as lawyers try to hammer out a resolution.

Attorneys on both sides told a judge today (Thursday) that they're exploring an agreement to resolve the matter and asked for more time. Shia's due back in court on September 10th.

The actor, who is being treated for addiction problems, was arrested in June after he allegedly disrupted a performance of Cabaret.
